the largest quarry operation in Colorado. |
| 1932 | Chaffee County courthouse was completed at 104 Crestone Avenue
in Salida. Designed by prominent architect Walter DeMordaunt. It is one of only three Art Deco courthouses in Colorado. It was listed on the state historical register in 1996. |
